Wanderlust on the Waves: my new podcast adventure

Hey everyone! I’m super excited to share something I’ve been working on—my new podcast, Wanderlust on the Waves. After spending the last 762 days living aboard our sailboat, El Burro, and exploring the world by sea, I figured it was time to tell some of the stories that have made this journey so special.

For those who don’t know me, I’m Julie, and for the past two years, my life has been anything but ordinary. I’ve been sailing full-time, hopping from one beautiful spot to another and soaking in all the experiences that come with living on the water. But it’s not all about the picture-perfect sunsets and turquoise waters—there’s so much more to it and that’s what I want to share with you.

What You Can Expect from the Podcast

In Wanderlust on the Waves, I’ll be taking you along for the ride as I recount some of my favourite moments from life at sea and our adventures on land. Each episode will dive into different aspects of this lifestyle—from the stunning places we’ve anchored, to the incredible people we’ve met and even the challenges we’ve faced along the way.

Why I’m Doing This

So, why a podcast? After two years of living this way, I’ve realised I have so many stories to tell. I want to inspire others—whether you’re someone who dreams of sailing the world one day or just someone who loves a good adventure story.

This podcast is for anyone who’s ever felt that pull toward something more, who’s ever wanted to break away from the ordinary and explore what’s out there. It’s for the dreamers, the wanderers and anyone who’s curious about our life as full-time sailors.
